Because it emerged from an underground scene, accounts of its provenance vary and are widely debated — but interviews, forums, and preservation circles consistently point to a gentleman named Weasel as its originator.
After accidentally cross-pollinating Chemdog and Mass Super Skunk, he and a crew of legacy operators in the Albany area went on to distribute Sour Diesel widely, cementing its place in cannabis history.
